Intermediate Watercolor with Nancy Lane

Improve your watercolor skills and color mixing while we create the above painting together! A printed photo and drawing is provided to each student in advance. If you have an iPad or tablet to view the photo, that is helpful. A group critique at the end rounds out the instruction.

A suggested supply list will be provided, but students can bring materials they already have. 100% cotton rag paper is essential.

About the Teacher:

Professional artist Nancy Lane works in watercolor and oil. Her cheerful teaching style encourages students to enjoy the process and embrace knowledge gained from mistakes.

Line, value, shape, color, form, texture, and composition are regularly discussed when appropriate. Group critiques include problem solving and encouragement. Class is limited to 9 students to allow for plenty of individual attention.
