Encaustic Collage

Join Darlene Rayburn for a 5 hour workshop on encaustics! Encaustic is a very old medium dating back several thousand years. Each participant will create a beautiful piece of art on a 5x9" wood board using natural found objects, collage materials of all kinds and pan pastels. The piece will be finished off with encaustic wax medium and a wire so you can hang it any place in your home. You are welcome to bring any additional collage items that inspire you. 

This class time also includes a short break for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own or purchase from downstairs at The Company Store.
