Watercolor Monotype Workshop

Madeline Corsaro will lead this full day workshop on watercolor monotypes!

What is a watercolor monotype? A watercolor monotype is a printmaking process in which we paint with watercolors onto plexiglass and then print onto paper using an etching press. Madeline will do a full demonstration of the technique and help everyone step-by-step through their project. You do NOT need to have any previous printmaking or painting experience to enjoy this class! 

We will complete our project by turning our monotypes into a concertina style sketchbook. The prints can then be embelished with pastels, pens, colored pencils, paint and more! Feel free to bring your own supplies for this purpose or use what the teacher provides. Cost of this full day workshop, including all essential supplies is $85. Bring a bag lunch or buy from The Company Store downstairs :)
