About the artist, Angelia Salerno:
"My work is typically landscape in oil and more contemporary work inspired by my observation and experience of the natural world. I believe that the creative well is deep, and that my work is built on a multidisciplinary attentiveness over time. It manifests itself in paint but attempts to allow the voices of things to speak in their own words. Every creature has a story from the smallest seed to the largest tree. These paintings speak to the personality that shines through every leaf, stone, cloud... That is why the flowers and plants on these canvases seem to float above and are reaching beyond their artificial containers. They were done as a change from landscape last winter."
